Many websites generate enormous revenue though embedded ads. Often times these ads are very invasive, including audio, pop-ups, large flash or java monstrosities that take over the page. Sometimes the page is so saturated with images it’s hard to tell what you’re looking at. Sometimes there are small text adds added in throughout the document. Maybe linked keywords.

Well, if you are a Firefox user you’re in luck! Adblock Plus, use it, and love it.

I’m not your PAL!

Here in America we use a color television standard called NTSC. Our TVs are formatted so that standard, so we sell devices such and DVD players that work with that standard. However, people often times come in looking for devices and tvs that support another format, PAL. What confuses me about this is the motivation. Where are these people getting stuff that plays in PAL? Why do they think any ‘ol store will carry PAL devices. I suppose it’s simply a case of educated vs the unclean.
