Great Firefox Add-On #3

I’m an avid Firefox user, as many of you may know. However, there are some websites that I cannot use with a mozilla-based browser, most are work related. A co-worker of mine informed me about an Add-on for Firefox that allows to you render a page using the IE engine thats installed on your computer.

This add-on is called IE Tab. It’s amazing, I am able to access whatever sites I need through Firefox, you can even run windows update in Firefox using this, WOW!

Great Firefox Add-On #2

Last time, I reported out about a great Firefox add-on called Adblock Plus. Today, we’re going to talk about one of my favorite cosmetic add-ons for Firefox, SmoothWheel.

SmoothWheel removed the pixel-based scroll measurement when using the scroll wheel on your mouse, and replaces it with a fluid kenetic style scroll, very similar to the iPhone’s interface. The install is straight forward, and the results are awesome.

My webhost has this great little program called Fantastico, it will automatically install lots of commonly used open-source scripts, such WordPress, what you’re reading right now.
