project: one off

Many websites generate enormous revenue though embedded ads. Often times these ads are very invasive, including audio, pop-ups, large flash or java monstrosities that take over the page. Sometimes the page is so saturated with images it’s hard to tell what you’re looking at. Sometimes there are small text adds added in throughout the document. Maybe linked keywords.

Well, if you are a Firefox user you’re in luck! Adblock Plus, use it, and love it.

I’ve poured several hours into this… well, I guess it isn’t really a game. Actually, it’s kind of depressing sometimes.
